Programme Highlights
Galaxy Macau is a world-class luxury integrated resort destination in Macau with an Asian heart. Phase 1 of Galaxy Macau was opened in May 2011. It quickly gained a reputation for being a diverse and luxurious playground where a “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy comes to life. Galaxy Macau and Broadway Macau doubled the original size to over 1.1 million square meters in its Phase 2 development with the addition of three new hotels in 2015. Raffles at Galaxy Macau, the world’s largest all-suite Raffles was unveiled in 2023. On the same day, Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC) and Galaxy Arena, the two world-class MICE and entertainment venues of the Phase 3 projects focusing on non-gaming elements, together with Andaz Macau, a vibrant lifestyle hotel celebrating local art and culture that seamlessly connected to GICC, were also inaugurated.
During this tour, representatives from Galaxy and AECOM will guide you through Galaxy Phase 1, 2 & 3 which have adopted the International Building Code (IBC) for the fire and life safety design.
Point of Assembly/ Address :
Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB) – Macau Port at 09:50 dated 2 November 2024. After the visit, the group will be dispersed at the same location.
Fee
Lunch will be arranged and cost will be shared amount participants at around HK150 per person.

The technical visit is free of charge and prior registration is required. For HKIE members, please register below. The organizers reserve the right to decline their application if no membership no. is submitted.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Successful registration will be notified individually. The deadline of application is 14 October 2024.
Members participating in the event shall be responsible for their own safety during the visit. The HKIE Fire Division will not accept liability for any accident, damage or injury caused to or by any participants during the visit. Participants are strongly advised to acquire their own insurance cover.
