About the Talk
Statistics showed that electric car or vehicle registrations increased rapidly in the past years over the world, and the consumer spending on electric vehicles continues to rise. Hong Kong Government is promoting this green transport model, with a target of introducing about 700 electric buses and 3,000 electric taxis by end-2027 (The Chief Executiveโs 2022 Policy Address 2022 refers). At the same time, more and more concerns are raised in relation to the fire safety design of electric cars and the associated facilities such as carparks and charging stations. In this technical talk, Anny will share with you about the latest trend and technology of electric vehicles, and their fire safety issues and possible solutions.
